Ohana was honestly such a solid spot. We really enjoyed it, and so did our friends. We’ll definitely be heading back, and it might have officially made its way to the top of our sushi list. Definitely recommend ordering the “My Wife Doesn’t Know What She Wants” roll. You won’t regret it.

August 22–23, Pistons for Patriots is taking over Expo New Mexico, and this is one weekend you won’t want to miss.

300+ vehicles, live entertainment, an indoor vendor fair, family activities, a beer garden, State Fair food and more.

Saturday brings a massive motorcycle ride from Thunderbird Harley-Davidson, with 500+ motorcycles expected to roll in.

At 4:00 PM, Steven Michael Quezada will host a fundraising comedy show, followed by Gilby Clarke, former guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, performing with L.A.’s Rock Revival at 6:00 PM.

Best part? The event is all about giving back. Net proceeds support Paws and Stripes, a local nonprofit providing training and therapy to veterans and their service animals.

Kids 12 and under are FREE.

We got to sneak into Vellum & Vine before they officially open and I’m not even kidding… this place is SO cute. 📚☕️🤎

It’s a brand new romance bookstore in Albuquerque with the cutest atmosphere, an amazing selection of books, AND coffee/ matcha that was seriously so good. Basically everything you need for a cozy time 😂

Their grand opening is THIS weekend Saturday & Sunday! 🎉 So if you’re a romance reader, a coffee/ matcha lover, or just love finding new local spots, definitely go check them out.

Sadie’s is one of those New Mexico staples that almost everyone has an opinion about.

This time, we couldn’t agree.

One of us thought it lived up to the hype and would gladly go back. The other wasn’t convinced it was the best, even though there were still some solid bites.

Whether you think it’s the best in town or just a classic stop, there’s no denying Sadie’s has earned its place in New Mexico food culture.

So now we want to know.

Are you on Team “it’s one of the best” or Team “it’s good, but there are better spots”?

Our honest review of Bubba’s 33.

The traditional wings were definitely good. Great flavor, cooked well, and something we’d order again.

The burger was solid too. Good flavor and worth ordering.

The pizza was our least favorite. It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t stand out. That said, we think it may have been the way we ordered it, so we’d give it another shot with different toppings.

Overall, we’d come back, especially for the wings and the burgers.
