Another one on the islands. Elijah’s Tacoma in Kahului, Hawaii is now running a CAMTuning custom calibration with the SXTH intake.
My process stays the same no matter where the truck is—start with the right setup, review the datalogs closely, and refine the calibration based on the truck, the parts, and the fuel it’s actually using. That’s how you end up with something that feels better everywhere, not just a tune that looks good on paper.

This is huge! Finally 50 state legal for hybrid models! Those that have been waiting, the wait is over.
Nicholas’s 2026 Hybrid 4Runner in Washington is finished up with a CAMTuning Custom Calibration, COBB intake, and COBB Accessport.

Another great example of what these trucks can pick up with a properly dialed-in calibration. Improved drivability, stronger response, and a noticeable improvement in power without sacrificing the way the truck behaves day to day.

New CAMTuning hybrid update.
Some hybrid Tacoma and 4Runner owners have noticed a hard first 1–2 shift after the vehicle has been sitting — usually a jolt or thump on the first drive of the day that disappears afterward.
I’ve been working on this with several customers and have now isolated the cause and developed a targeted correction.
The result is a much smoother first 1–2 shift without changing the normal transmission behavior once the vehicle is underway.
I’m adding this update to all future hybrid calibrations.
Existing CAMTuning hybrid customers who experience the first-shift issue can reach out for a free update.
A big thanks to the customers who are willing to test changes and report back. That feedback is a huge part of how I continue improving these calibrations long after the initial development is complete.
