This retreat wasn’t only an experience I was called to create for other women.
God was doing a work in me, too.
I came into this year carrying grief, learning how to keep moving forward while still honoring what my heart has endured.
Yet God reminded me that being called doesn’t mean we have to arrive completely healed, completely strong, or with all the answers. Sometimes obedience simply looks like saying,
“Nevertheless, at your Word, I Will.”
I watched women rest. I watched them release. I watched them pray, worship, laugh, cry, embrace one another and experience genuine sisterhood. And somewhere in the middle of pouring out, God poured back into me.
I’m leaving the ReNewed Experience with an even deeper understanding of the assignment God has placed on my life. The deep required trust. The deep required surrender. But there was healing in the deep. And I’m so grateful I said yes.🙌🏾

At the Rest. Restore. Renew. Retreat, we gathered hand in hand. Hearts open. Eyes closed. We prayed. We worshiped. We meditated on Scripture. We became still in the presence of God. Yes, there were tears, embraces, surrender, encouragement, and sisters simply holding one another through the moment. No performance. No pressure.
Just women making room for God and allowing Him to meet each of us exactly where we were. To God Be The Glory🙌🏾
