✨ And yes… she has a little nubby back foot! 🩷

Her little nub has never stopped her from being a kitten. She runs, plays, climbs, explores and does everything a normal kitten does. She doesn't know she's different — and she certainly doesn't let it slow her down! 🥰

Tadpole's situation is a little more complicated because her mama was FeLV positive, and one of her littermates initially tested negative before later testing positive.

Tadpole has received two FeLV vaccines and remains healthy and negative. Once she turns one year old, we'll retest her to give us a clearer picture of her status.

Until then, we're looking for a foster-to-adopt family willing to give this sweet girl a safe, loving home while we continue monitoring her.

💗 And honestly? Tadpole is SO worth it.

She's the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart. She's laid-back, affectionate, easygoing and simply loves being around her people. 🐾

These two are a bonded pair who are FeLV-positive and looking for a very special family willing to see who they are, not just their diagnosis.

🐱 Mama Kitty — about 1 year old, sweet, spayed, vaccinated, and full of love.
🐱 Albert — about 5–6 years old, fully vetted and microchipped. He is completely eyeless, but that has NEVER stopped him! He navigates his world amazingly well and is an incredible, loving cat. ❤️

✨ They have so much love to give. They just need someone willing to give them a chance.

FeLV-positive cats can still have happy, fulfilling lives, and Mama Kitty and Albert have each other for companionship and comfort. Our biggest hope is that they can stay together in the forever home they deserve. 🏡💗

🐸 Foster-to-Adopt Needed for Tadpole! 🩷

Tadpole is a beautiful 9-month-old patched tabby looking for a foster-to-adopt home!

She came into ROC The Dogs Rescue as one of our October intakes and is one of our special "Nubby Kittens." Tadpole has a little nub where her back hind foot should be, but it has never slowed her down. She runs, plays, climbs, and enjoys life just like any other kitten!

Tadpole is fully vetted—she's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is currently combo negative. She is wonderful with other cats, dogs, and people.

What truly makes Tadpole special is her personality. She is incredibly mellow, sweet, and laid back. She enjoys being around her people and has a gentle nature that makes her an easy companion to love.

Because Tadpole's mom was FeLV (feline leukemia) positive, and one of her littermates initially tested negative before later testing positive, we've taken extra precautions.

Tadpole has received two FeLV vaccines, and our plan is to retest her once she turns one year old. She remains healthy and negative, but until she can be retested, we are looking for a foster-to-adopt home.

A foster-to-adopt home will give Tadpole the opportunity to settle into a loving family while we monitor her status and complete her final FeLV testing. We truly believe her forever family is out there, and we can't wait to help them find each other.

Our shed roof is in rough shape. Many of the shingles have already fallen off, and it’s definitely time for a much-needed redo. 😬🏠

BUT… we promise, this shed has GOOD BONES! 💪🐾 We just need some help getting the roof back into shape so we can continue using this space safely for our rescue supplies.

We are looking for:

🔨 A roofing company willing to donate labor
🏠 Someone willing to donate roofing shingles/materials
🤝 A roofer who can give us a hand or offer a rescue discount

If you’re a roofer, own a roofing company, have extra shingles/materials, or KNOW SOMEONE who might be willing to help a local animal rescue, PLEASE reach out to us!
