Families of our English Road residents matched their loved ones' colors, brought themed snacks, and joined in a celebration that was bursting with creativity, connection, and color. The only question: which color had the most fun? Kudos for a creative and fun way to spend time together.

Our newest team members recently completed True Colors Intl training as part of New Hire Orientation. This engaging assessment helps staff better understand communication styles, motivations, and behaviors, while learning how to appreciate differences and work more effectively together.

At Mary Cariola, every staff member completes True Colors training because understanding one another helps us better support each other and the students we serve.

Our Wellness Fair brought together valuable resources, wellness tips, community vendors, breast cancer screenings, Foodlink Curbside Market and some fun giveaways along the way. The biggest takeaway? We're hiring a Property Maintenance Technician with experience in general building maintenance. Skills in drywall repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC are highly valued.

Not an expert in every area? That's okay. We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who is willing to learn and take on a variety of projects.

📍 Location: Monroe County
💰 Pay: $23.50-$26.75 per hour
🩺 Benefits: generous paid time off (4 weeks of vacation time per year), paid training, medical benefits & more
⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm or 7am-3:30pm

The Mary Cariola Suns Soccer team battled in today’s Special Olympics New York competition , tying in the preliminary round and facing a higher-division opponent before clinching third place with a 3–2 bronze-medal win. Always competing, always smiling, and always making us proud. Go Suns! 💛💙
