Our Tuesday 7 o'clock feature is new, introducing Mr. Bo and Miss Peep! 😻😻

These two cuties were found in the road snuggling together while very sick.

Bo (tabby) is very outgoing, loves affection, and will certainly let you know when he isn't receiving it. He is curious about everything and is a great escape artist.

Peep (tortie) is quite shy, but absolutely loves to be loved (she might act like she doesn't, but she does).

Bo and Peep were together through their illnesses (and Peep's eye removal surgery), so it would be wonderful if they could stay together (but it isn't required).

If not adopted together, Peep's ideal home would be as an only cat in an adult home where she can receive one on one love. As for Bo, with his outgoing personality, he'll be fine in any household!

Bo and Peep do well with the resident small dogs and adult cats in their foster home. They are estimated to be about 6 months old. 🤎🖤

Introducing two new 4-month-old girls, Dot & Tilly. These beauties are not sisters, but are together in the same foster home. 😻

🩶 Dot (more gray on face) is a quiet, gentle girl with plenty of love to give her future family. She loves playing with her foster siblings and enjoys being part of the fun, but she’s never the one stirring up trouble! Dot’s sweet, easygoing personality makes her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a kitten who is playful without being too wild.

With her adorable little face and calm nature, Dot is ready to find a forever home where she can settle in, feel safe, and show just how sweet she can be.

🧡 Tilly (more orange on face) is a playful little girl with a sweet, calm personality. She’s often happy to relax and take things easy - but don’t let her laid-back nature fool you! She’s still very much a kitten, and when the zoomies strike, Tilly is off and running!

She loves spending time playing and cuddling with her foster siblings and would enjoy having a furry friend in her forever home. Tilly is also used to dogs, making her a great fit for a home with other pets.

Our Monday 7 o'clock kitty is 3-month-old Bowen! 🤎

Bowen is either a ball of energy or a complete snuggle bunny! His photos don't show just how beautiful his colors and markings are. His purrs can most likely be measured on the Richter Scale and his personality could be voted best comedian!

Bowen is learning various commands, but “no” is probably going to take additional time. The love in his eyes is mesmerizing and his body language speaks volumes!

What's the spookiest part of being an animal rescue? The rising cost of saving lives!

The average cost to prepare a healthy animal for adoption ranges from $150 to $800, while animals needing more complex assistance often pushes total costs past $1,100 to $3,000+ per animal 😱

Adoption fees barely scratch the surface of covering the never ending veterinary costs our animals need. Between spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, parasite/flea preventatives, food, litter, and everything else our animals need to thrive, the daily cost of rescue work is scarier than anything Stephen King could come up with! 😩

Have no fear! Thanks to the generous support of the community and our dedicated volunteers, GRASP Animal Rescue makes it work year after year for 30 years to save lives western NY.

Introducing Hans & Franz! 😻😻

Meet Hans (black) and Franz (black and white) - two kitten brothers just about 3 months old who are ready to bring double the fun (and double the cuteness) to their forever home! Their names might as well have been Felix and Oscar (the original odd couple) but those are popular cat names and are taken.

Hans is the life of the party - fearless, full of kitten chaos, and always ready to go from zero to 100 in a game of chase, pounce, or “let’s see what this human is doing.” He’s got endless energy, loves attention, and believes every moment is a good moment for playtime and cuddles.️ 🖤

Franz is the more refined gentleman of the pair. He prefers a slower pace: a cozy blanket, a good book (okay, maybe a toy mouse counts), a sitcom rerun, and a relaxing autumn afternoon. But once you start the pets, he’s happy to put down his “serious kitten” act and join in on the fun. 🖤

Together, Hans and Franz are the perfect balance of adventure and snuggles. They’ll keep you laughing, keep you company, and make sure your home is never boring again.

Our Sunday 7 o'clock kitty is 4-year-old Lou Lou! 🖤

Lou Lou (aka Looney Toons) is a very beautiful tuxedo (check out that mustache) who was trapped as a stray in the city in November 2025. When found, it took some time for her to learn to trust humans again. Once she did, she became a friendly and chatty girl. 😻

Her favorite toy is the feather wand - she will flip and jump around to catch it. She also enjoys getting treats out of a puzzle feeder or "sitting" for a treat. One of her other favorite things is to watch Cat TV on YouTube.

After some life as a stray, Lou Lou does have some boundaries. She is all about patience, and humans who will give her time to adjust and not rush into anything. She can get a little over stimulated if pet too much. Once you get to know her, you'll recognize "the look" she gives when she's about to get annoyed. 😾

Lou Lou would do best in an adult-only home. She does interact with the male cat in her foster home at times. An older, calm cat who minds their own business may be a good fit. Lou Lou is not fond of dogs, but is sort of getting used to the ones in her foster home.

Our Saturday 7 o'clock kitty is 7-month-old Carter! 💙

Carter is the perfect blend of playful, friendly, and adaptable. Carter loves meeting new people and quickly makes friends with everyone he encounters. He’s great with kids, does well with small dogs, and absolutely loves the company of other cats.
