Five years ago today I closed bombshells & Northern Roots had its first day of clients 🤍
I honestly don’t think I have the words to fully express what owning Northern Roots has meant to me. What started as a dream that my that my now husband Lostt helped me bring to life has become a place filled with laughter, creativity, friendships, and big life moments.
Owning a salon has been one of the hardest, most rewarding, exhausting, and fulfilling things I’ve ever done. There have been days I’ve cried, days I’ve questioned myself, and days I’ve stood back, looked around, and thought, “How did I get here? I’m so lucky.”
But to the girls behind the brand & behind the chairs… I love you so freaking much. Thank you for showing up, working your butts off, making people feel beautiful, making me laugh when we really wanna cry and helping make Northern Roots what it is. I’m blessed every day to work with my family, but more blessed to have coworkers who turned into family & friends.
And to our clients… seriously, thank you. Out of every salon in Brevard, you continue to choose us. You recommend us to your friends, cheer us on, support every crazy idea I come up with, and keep our chairs full. You’ve watched us grow, you’ve grown with us, and you’ve become part of our little family.
The video says it perfectly… without you, this place would just be walls and chairs.
So thank you for every appointment, every referral, every hug, every laugh, every review, every conversation, and every bit of support over these last five years.
Here’s to the next five. I have a feeling we’re just getting started. 🤍✨
