Today, our Survivor Support Coordinator, Lori Dorr-Biddle, had the privilege of sharing her testimony with the women of Kingdom Women of Brevard.

As she reflected on the highs and lows of her journey, one truth became unmistakably clear: God’s faithfulness has never depended on her circumstances.

He was faithful in the joy.
He was faithful in the heartbreak.
He was faithful in the waiting.
He was faithful when she couldn’t yet see what He was doing.

Looking back, it’s evident that God was doing far more than carrying Lori through life’s hardest seasons—He was preparing her.

Preparing her to sit across from a survivor who wonders if healing is possible.
Preparing her to speak hope into hearts weighed down by shame.
Preparing her to offer compassion without judgment, wisdom without condemnation, and encouragement rooted in the truth of God’s Word.

Today, Lori serves as the Survivor Support Coordinator for our supportive housing program, SARA’s Roots, walking alongside women as they rebuild their lives after trafficking. Every conversation, every prayer, every celebration, every hard day, and every small step forward is an opportunity to remind them of this same truth:

Their past is not the end of their story.

The God who redeems, restores, and makes all things new is still writing every chapter.

We are incredibly grateful for Lori’s willingness to say “yes” to the calling God placed on her life. Her story is a testimony not only of God’s goodness, but of His perfect timing. The very experiences that once shaped her are now being used to help other women discover hope, healing, and a future they may never have imagined.

What a faithful God we serve!

“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.” — Psalm 138:8 08/05/2026

Our coalition and partnership with Release SARA and SARA’s Roots is a gift from God helping us to make even more of a difference together here in Brevard County!

It’s a hard truth that s*x trafficking and po*******hy videos with children are happening in our own backyard!
We must always be aware of our surroundings and report all suspicions!
We are thankful for the Brevard County Sheriff’s office and Wayne Ivey for doing all they can to stop this disgusting crime!
