Today, Pastor Kirk is on vacation. He thought it would be good to go back to the book of Mark for second look at this passage. This is a repeat of a service from 2024.
God loves everyone so much that He set the rules with mercy and grace in mind. It doesn't matter what your background is because God says "Everyone who..."
It's hard to trip over a building's cornerstone. But that's what the apostle Paul says happened to many Jewish people when Jesus showed up in history. If we aren't careful, it can happen to us, too.
Some prople were questioning whether God was unjust. Paul was going to show them why He was not. In fact, Paul tells them that God is incredibly patient.
Something happened to God's people over time. They misunderstood some things about their relationship with God. The apostle Paul in Romans 9:1-13 points out the true meaning of their relationship with God.
As we approach the 250th birthday of the United States, we'll look at what the Apostle Paul says the responsibility of Christians towards their government.
First of all, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there. In today's bible passage, the apostle Paul tells Jesus' followers that they have an inseparable relaationship with our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul often used progressions to show how things moved forward in God's plan. Today, we'll see that he uses a progression to tell us how we ultimately became chosen for God's kingdom, and what results God brings about in those people who follow His son Jesus.
The apostle Paul told of his struggles in Chapter 7 of Romans. Now he tells some of what God does to help with thise struggles. Today, our passage tells of two mindsets that we need to choose from. The key for us is having the "Proper MIndset."
We all have struggles in life. The apostle Paul talks about a struggle that is common to Christians: the struggle to avoid doing what we're not supposed to do.
