Nannie never let anyone leave her table hungry. 💗
She cooked for her family, her friends, her grandkids (and a few extra grandkids too). One Thanksgiving, when she found out the bank tellers at Walmart had to work the holiday, she made each of them a plate and delivered it herself.
That was Nannie. She took care of everyone.
In 2015, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. She fought it, beat it, and when it came back in 2019, she fought again with everything she had. We lost her on October 10, 2020.
This October, Shenaniganz is honoring her with "Nannie's Kitchen Was The Breast in The Bayou" for Bras for the Cause Hunt County. 🎀
Nannie spent her life showing up for people. Now we're asking you to show up for the families fighting breast cancer right here in our community.
