*ARC. LAWANI ADVOCATES INTEGRITY AND SERVICE FOR NEW AKOKO-EDO YOUTH FORUM (AEYF) PRESIDENT*

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Assembly candidate for Akoko-Edo II Constituency, Arc. Paul Alaba Lawani, described leadership as a platform for lifting others rather than personal enrichment.

Arc Lawani made this known today at the inauguration of Com Donald Olorunda as the new AEYF President. Using a powerful analogy, Arc Lawani likened a leader to a ladder that enables people to climb towards success and greater opportunities.

He advised the new executive to remain focused on service despite inevitable distractions and criticisms, noting that every leader must learn to distinguish genuine advice from unnecessary distractions.

Arc. Lawani observed that every society consists of people with varying attitudes and expectations, making integrity, honesty, consistency, and transparency indispensable qualities for effective leadership.

He urged the new President to remain committed to the vision of empowering youths and building a stronger, more united Akoko-Edo.
