Great Job!!
At CASA of South Central Missouri, our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that children in foster care have a voice in court and a dedicated advocate by their side during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
This work would not be possible without the incredible support of our community sponsors, local businesses, and generous individuals who believe every child deserves to be heard, protected, and given the opportunity to thrive.
Shoutout to some incredible members of The Community Partnership, Robyn, Colten and Jamie! Their work with older youth in foster care truly makes a lasting impact. They are a vital piece of support, guidance, and encouragement for so many young people navigating some of life’s toughest transitions. The dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment do not go unnoticed.
The care they show and the time they invest in each youth they serve is simply unmatched. Because of Robyn, Colten and Jamie, our community is stronger, and our youth have a brighter path forward.
Thank you for investing in our mission and helping us make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Together, we are giving children a voice and hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Early learning opportunities, such as preschool, play an essential role in preparing children for kindergarten and setting them up for long-term educational success. However, access to early childhood education programs remains uneven, with many families struggling to access and afford high-quality programs in their area.
This year, Missouri ranked 29th in the Education domain. The 2026 cumulative score for Missouri is 383, whereas the 2019 score was 546. Missouri’s score is also lower than the national average for Education, which is 417.

What do the data say about child well-being in Missouri? The 2026 KIDS COUNT® Data Book from Annie E. Casey Foundation provides a trusted snapshot of how children and families are faring across four areas: economic well-being, education, health and family and community factors. This year’s enhanced index helps better illustrate how outcomes for kids are changing over time — giving communities and leaders better tools to understand the progress that has been made and identify where more action is needed. Rankings show how states compare. Scores range from 0 (worst) to 1,000 (best) and reflect child well-being relative to a 2019 baseline; changes over time indicate progress or decline. Scores are not percentages or a finish line; higher scores indicate better outcomes.
