We’ve made it to our final stop: Hanksville!

After months of hard work and preparation, we’re ready for Equipment Servicing and Autonomous Navigation bright and early tomorrow at the University Rover Challenge 2026. Time to put the rover to the test!

As we prepare to leave for Hanksville tomorrow, we’re reminded that this team is about far more than just building a rover. Through the long hours, heat, and hard work, we’ve built friendships, grown as engineers, and learned how to push each other to be better every day, all while having some fun along the way.

We are excited for what’s ahead in Utah!

Our team has been hard at work checking systems, testing, and making final adjustments to make sure the rover is ready for whatever the desert throws at us. Every stop on this trip is another opportunity to refine and prepare.

Whether it’s manipulating sample tubes or plugging in hoses, the rover’s arm makes complex equipment servicing tasks look effortless.

Our Autonomy Team has built a truly impressive navigation system capable of detecting objects, avoiding obstacles, and traversing difficult terrain with confidence.

URC is right around the corner! Our Science Team has been hard at work preparing for the Science Mission, where the rover will search for signs of life in the Utah desert.
