What game are you playing if WoW isn’t an option?

🤦🏻‍♂️ It’s been a hell of a week. 🤦🏻‍♂️

My PC is overheating, my AIO has apparently retired without telling me, I’ve bought enough computer parts to make my wallet file a formal complaint. To top it off I’ve had more vehicle repair bills than a dealership after a hail storm.

So to my CPU, my AIO, my bank account, my vehicles, Zuckerberg, his algorithm, the Defias Scammerhood, and whatever goblin is currently responsible for my life:

You can all take your collective nonsense, load it into a Catapult, aim it directly at the Sun, launch it into the Void, have Xal’atath eat it, have the Titans reject it, have Sargeras stab it with his giant sword, resurrect it for absolutely no reason, and then mail the remains to Goldshire where it can spend eternity being somebody else’s problem.

And if that isn’t enough, Jimothy can steal it. Actually, no. Let’s make sure Jimothy understands the assignment.

Have Jimothy steal it, drag it behind the nearest tavern, bury it six feet underground, dig it back up three days later because apparently raccoons have terrible long-term planning skills, drag it to the Auction House, accidentally list it for one copper, and have some level 4 warrior named Xxdeathlordxx buy the entire thing without reading the description.

Then have that warrior vendor it. Then he buys it back. He puts it in the bank. His bank fills up. He buys another bank tab specifically for it. Blizzard announces a new expansion. The item becomes relevant to the main story for absolutely no reason. Suddenly everyone needs it. The warrior has no idea where it came from. Nobody knows why it exists. The developers refuse to explain it. Some guy on Reddit writes a 14,000-word theory explaining that it was actually created before the Titans and contains the soul of the original World-Soul.

Blizzard confirms he’s wrong. Then six months later they make it canon. And somehow Jimothy gets credit for the whole thing.

And since apparently my suffering must have a purpose, somebody else is getting to have a considerably better next week than I had.

I refuse to believe anyone has ever logged into WoW for “just 30 minutes.”

That’s the biggest lie we’ve all ever told ourselves.

I don’t trust anyone who says they don’t have a bank full of junk they’re “saving just in case.”

🚨COMPLETELY RANDOM ‘IYKYK’ POST 🚨

So, I was only going to buy some good thermal paste because my CPU has apparently decided it’s going to try and heat my whole house. Simple enough, right? Sometimes these pre-built’s get lesser quality materials used. Except somehow I also ended up buying a new AIO cooler because ‘what if’. You know, Just in case my old AIO cooler is heading for hospice care… Not a terrible justification. Well, I took it one step further and also bought a power supply because Future Me apparently has GPU upgrade money that Current Me hasn’t been informed about yet.

So while I wait on parts, I fired up my old PC. The one I built years ago that’s been my daughter’s for a while now. I was expecting to immediately miss my main rig. Instead this thing boots up, looks incredible on her new monitor, stays cool, doesn’t make a sound, and has the audacity to make me question ever buying this other PC. I built this thing… and now it’s judging me. It still has my 1080ti F.E.

Anyway, since my PC has decided to take a vacation, somebody else shouldn’t have to.

React to the post because ‘IYKYK’. Also, apparently that’s how we convince Zuckerberg I’m not yelling into the void. Right now my leading theory is Jimothy crawled into the case, stole my thermal paste, sold it to the Defias Scammerhood, and retired comfortably.

Project Camelot Moves From Dev Server to Vendor Server - Is Blizzard Planning a Closed Beta? Patch 1.60, codenamed Project Camelot, has moved from an internal development server to a vendor server, indicating that Blizzard is preparing for external testing.
