For the Aug 4th vote in Franklin County!

PACIFIC OPPORTUNITY! 2pm Saturday, July 25th at the Scenic Regional Library!

Sign up to train and walk door-to-door to Get Out the Vote in local elections and to vote NO on Amendments 4 & 5. Canvasses are in the afternoon. We start with a 1/2h training at the beginning of every shift. We provide all the materials and information you will need. Time on the doors depends on your availability and how long it takes to walk the doors. We always get back to the launch venue by end of the canvass. This will be an easy turf. 🚨 PACIFIC RESIDENTS: IMPORTANT PLANNING & ZONING MEETING – TUESDAY, JULY 14

The City of Pacific Planning & Zoning Commission will consider several important items tomorrow evening, including:

📍 A proposed 12-month moratorium on data center applications while the City studies potential impacts, updates its comprehensive plan if needed, engages the community, and develops appropriate zoning regulations.

This is exactly the type of thoughtful planning many residents have been asking for. A moratorium is not a ban - it simply provides time to ensure decisions are made with the community’s long-term interests in mind rather than under pressure from pending development proposals.
