The stage is set, the lights are rigged, and the magic of the Bard is about to come alive right here in our own backyard! 🎭✨

We stopped by Bridgepoint Plaza earlier today to catch the crew putting the finishing touches on the outdoor stage for the 10th Anniversary of the Rome Shakespeare Festival.
You can feel the anticipation in the air as the backdrop goes up and the festival tents are rolled out for opening night.

The festival officially kicks off tonight with a magical production of A Midsummer Night's Dream! This spectacular community event is completely FREE to attend and open to everyone.

🗓️ The Details You Need to Know:
🎭What: 10th Anniversary Rome Shakespeare Festival presenting A Midsummer Night's Dream
🎭When: Tonight, September 23 through Sunday, September 27. Performances run Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 PM, and Sunday at 5:30 PM.
🎭Where: Bridgepoint Plaza
🎭Cost: FREE to attend!
🎭Weekend Extras: This year brings the inaugural Renaissance Fayre on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sunday is also Family Day, featuring the first-ever 5K Shakespeare River Run at 9:00 AM, alongside workshops, a puppet show, and interactive fun for the kids.

Grab your favorite lawn chairs, pack a comfortable picnic blanket, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of live theater under the stars. Whether you are a lifelong Shakespeare enthusiast or just looking for a fantastic way to spend a cool evening outside, this is exactly where you need to be.
