Double File Trail PTA

🐾 HERE’S THE ASK, D.O.G.S.

30 minutes. That’s it. ❤️

From 7:00–7:30 AM, we’re looking for dads and male community members to join us at DFT for High-Five Fridays starting September 25!

Stand outside. Give some high-fives. Say good morning. Cheer our kids on as they walk through the doors. Help them start their day knowing their school community is showing up for them.

You can:
🤠 Come one time
🤠 Or make High-Five Fridays your new Friday morning tradition and come every month!

Research shows that when fathers are actively involved in children’s lives, children benefit academically, socially, and emotionally. Sometimes that involvement looks big. Sometimes it looks like 30 minutes, a high-five, and being there.

So dads, uncles, grandpas, stepdads, foster dads, mentors, and male community members… we’re calling you!

30 minutes. One Friday. A whole lot of high-fives. Let’s show our kids we’re here for them. 🤝

VATRE 26 | Information Session

At our September 17 membership meeting at 4:15 PM, DFT PTA members will determine our PTA’s position on the Voter Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE) and provide direction to our delegate for the Round Rock ISD Council of PTAs meeting.

On Monday, September 14 from 3–4 PM in the DFT Library, a Round Rock ISD representative will be there to explain the proposal, share information, and answer questions.
