I'm doing a "class" in playing the music of Grateful Dead (and others) in my Harlem studio weds 8pm -
This is for beginners and intermediate players and singers who would like to play in a band situation - learn by playing with others - learn "how" to be in a band,
If you've always wanted to try singing with a band or maybe you want to practice soloing and improvising with a live band - YouTube will only get you so far - playing with other humans is the best.
I have amps and drum kit - backline
It's $60 bucks - which is just a little more then you'd pay at a hourly practice place.

I've got some amazing news!! I'm building a new recording studio in Harlem!
Through the benevolence of my old friend and musical partner Greg Koerner a deal has been made for a killer space. A certain famous jazz drummer trusted and blessed us with this space.
I'm running a small fund raiser for moving. If you can help that would be awesome. I always do most of the work when I build a new studio - and there's a lot of work to do. But some stuff I have to farm out and that costs a bit.
