Every year around this time, I notice it… the September shed! 🍂
If you’re suddenly seeing more hair in your brush, on your clothes, or in the shower, you’re not imagining it.
Our hair naturally moves through different growth and shedding cycles, and for some of us, that seasonal shift can mean noticeably more shedding toward the end of summer and into fall.
I know I personally go through a BIG seasonal shed every year. Knowing it’s coming definitely makes it a little less alarming!
The important part is supporting your scalp and healthy new growth, minimizing other things that can contribute to shedding, and knowing when hair loss might be more than just seasonal.
