Our Garden is a place for us to relax and find peace. All you will see and hear is the beauty and color of nature, as well as the buzz of bees and birds singing.

Another beautiful year of FloydFest, where Happy Roots has the honor of creating and maintaining the festival’s Memorial Garden installation for staff and patrons. 🌱

It was great to see Lukas Nelson there again. During COVID, Lukas launched a series highlighting and. across the nation. Happy Roots had 3 gardens on his map! 🌱 Between that and his dad Willie Nelson Farm Aid - where Happy Roots had the honor of being a Featured Exhibitor in 2022 - the Nelson Family stands strong behind food sovereignty, the health and success of American farmers, our soil, livelihoods, and sustainable agriculture.
This song is even more fitting for such trying times… 🎶🌱🎶

Alrighty folks! We’re on the last weeks of summer here before 🌱
We invite educators, mentors, and volunteers to take this asynchronous, self-paced online course created by NC State Plants for Human Health Institute to help you learn how to utilize the as an engaging outdoor classroom! Upon completion for educators, Happy Roots is willing to reimburse your $20 enrollment fee, as limited resources allow. You can also earn up to 2.5 CEUs upon completion.
Let’s revolutionize the curriculum, teach our youth and future generations what they need to know NOW… and Let’s Grow Together

Memorizing dates is cool and all but maybe kids should also learn about growing food, how pollinators work, how soil stays healthy, and grow up knowing they can help the planet.
