A few weeks ago while we were in Atlanta for a Braves game, we wandered into Baseballism… and we’re so glad we did! ❤️⚾

As soon as McKenna spotted a DAL3 sticker, she had to have it. That led to a conversation with Brad (who deserves Employee of the Year, if you ask us! 🏆).

Brad took the time to hear all about McKenna’s racing journey, her love for Dale Earnhardt Sr., and why the #3 means so much to her. He was genuinely interested, incredibly kind, and went above and beyond by surprising both of our kids with a shirt.

It’s not every day you meet someone who leaves such a lasting impression just by being kind. Experiences like that are what make a business stand out, and because of Brad, our family is officially Baseballism fans for life!

🏁 Tuesday Race Recap | 7.28.26 🏁

The rain may have dampened the night, but it definitely didn’t cancel the fun! 🌧️🏁 We were so thankful the worst of the storms stayed away, and the delay gave us a little extra time to catch up with our race family. ❤️

Because of the weather, the schedule was shortened, so we went straight from qualifying to the A Mains—no heats!

Qualifying Results:
🏎️ Carter qualified 7th out of 20
🏎️ McKenna qualified 15th out of 19

The changing track conditions kept us on our toes. It had a lot more bite but was also much bumpier, so dialing in the right air pressure for both karts was definitely a challenge.

Both kids made the A Mains, and those races kept everyone on the edge of their seats! There were cautions, wrecks, and plenty of excitement from start to finish.

🏁 Carter drove an awesome race and brought home a 2nd-place finish in Beginner Box! 🥈
🏁 McKenna battled through a tough Jr. Wing field and finished 15th.

We headed to Waffle House to celebrate Carters 2nd place and our friend Aliya Snyder Aliya Snyder Racing Box stock win on Kids nigh last week!

We are so proud of both of these kids. Every time they hit the track, they gain more confidence, make smarter decisions, and continue to grow as racers. Watching their progress is the best part of this journey!

Now it’s time for a well-earned two-week break before we’re back at it. We’ll see everyone back at Millbridge on Tuesday, August 18th! 💪🏁❤️

Today we said goodbye to Corine’s Cafe. It has been a family staple for over 20 years now. Those wonderful ladies have watched Brad and I date, get married and have all three kids. Many Saturday morning breakfasts with Grandpa Lawing, Nana and Papaw have made lasting memories we will always cherish! Thank you for the years of love, laughter and coffee!

Carter walked out with a some nascar and Corine’s memorabilia for his room!

We are in mourning as this has been like a death in the family!

🏁 KIDS NIGHT — DAY 2 RECAP! 🏁

Now that the dust has settled and we’ve had time to reflect on the event, we have to say, it was a good one!

McKenna started the B Main second-to-last in 11th place, and I could tell she was feeling a little defeated. But our girl put that behind her, went out there, and raced her way all the way up to 5th place! She made some awesome passes and smart decisions on the track that showed just how far she has come as a driver. She missed transferring to the A Main by just one spot, but that’s okay! We finally have a good setup under her, and we can’t wait to see what she can do next Tuesday!

Carter struggled with the heat both nights, but we told him to give it everything he had, and he did just that! He battled through it and finished the A Main in 5th place! We are so proud of his determination and toughness!

We also want to give a HUGE congratulations to our friend Aliya Snyder on her Box Stock win! 🏆🎉

Now we get the rest of the week off from racing, but not from sports! McKenna has a two-day softball tournament before we head back to the track on Tuesday. Softball fields to racetracks…that’s just how we roll! 🥎➡️🏁

🏁 Kids Night – Day 1 Recap! 🏁

What a fun way to kick off one of our favorite weeks of the year!

Carter put together a solid night, racing his way into both the Dash and the A Main! The Dash will determine the starting positions for the top 6 drivers based on points earned, so we’re excited to see what Tuesday brings!

McKenna battled a tricky setup all night. We just couldn’t quite get her kart dialed in for the track, but she’s not done yet! She’ll be back fighting through the B Main and ready to give it everything she’s got.

And then there was Landry… our little Junior Crew Chief was hard at work all evening, making sure Bubba and Sissy knew exactly what they needed to do! He definitely took his job seriously and kept everyone entertained with his expert advice. Momma sure is tired from chasing him all night! ❤️

We’re heading back Tuesday for Kids Night Day 2, ready to make some adjustments, race hard, and chase those checkered flags! 🏁

We recently visited SRI Performance to grab a few race necessities. It’s always a great time visiting the guys and of course Blake! Carter definitely hit up the candy bowl 😂

🏁 Saturday 7/11 Race Recap 🏁

It was another solid night at the track for both of our racers!

💜 McKenna battled a kart that wasn’t quite right early in the night, but after making some part replacements and adjustments, she kept digging and drove her way to an 8th-place finish in the A Main. We love seeing her determination and willingness to keep pushing no matter what!

❤️ Carter had an incredible night and, even more importantly, showed just how much he’s grown as a driver. He qualified 2nd, finished 3rd in his heat, and brought home a 2nd-place finish in the A Main! While we always chase that checkered flag, we’re just as proud of the decision he made late in the race. He chose not to force a risky move for the lead that could have taken out himself or another driver. A year ago, he probably would have gone for it. Seeing that maturity and smart decision-making is a huge win in our book. Sometimes the biggest victories don’t happen in Victory Lane.

We also loved having friends at the track cheering us on—it made the night even more special!

We didn’t make it to Waffle House because Landry was done for the night but we will hit them up to celebrate this week!

Now it’s time to get ready for Kids Week on 7/20 & 7/21. We’re excited to get back on the track and chase those checkered flags! 🏁❤️💜
