We are pleased to welcome Dr. Swaran Preet Singh (Swaran Singh) to our Sunday meeting. He will guide us in exploring the mind, brain, and self through insights from modern science and evidence, while connecting them with ancient wisdom.

Dr. Singh initially trained as a surgeon in New Delhi before moving into psychiatry after witnessing the impact of violent trauma on children and young people. He moved to the UK in 1991 and later conducted research at Nottingham University on first-episode psychosis and ethnic influences in mental health.

In 2001, he developed the first NHS-funded Early Intervention in Psychosis service in London, recognized for improving outcomes for young people experiencing first-episode psychosis. In 2006, he joined Warwick University as Professor of Social and Community Psychiatry, where he now serves as Director of the Centre for Mental Health & Wellbeing Research, alongside his role as an NHS Consultant Psychiatrist with the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.

We invite you to join us for this 90-minute interactive session.

Prabhunam Kaur has spent decades sharing the wisdom of sacred music through kirtan, mantra, and song. A lifelong musician, she began studying piano as a child and later devoted herself to the singing of Gurbani and sacred chants from the Sikh and Kundalini Yoga traditions. Over the years, her voice has become a source of peace and healing for listeners around the world. She has studied with traditional kirtan teachers in both India and the United States, released albums including Seasons of the Soul and Mother’s Blessing, and inspired generations of seekers through her quiet devotion to music as prayer.
This Sunday, we are deeply honored to welcome Prabhunam Kaur to our Seekers gathering for an intimate evening of kirtan, reflection, and shared wisdom.
At DhunAnand Foundation, we believe that music and art can help heal the human condition. Our mission is to support artists who are serving the planet through beauty, compassion, and oneness. Gatherings like these remind us that sacred music is not performance alone — it is remembrance, listening, and coming together in community.
Please join us on Sunday to experience Prabhunam Kaur’s luminous presence and music with us.
All are welcome.

Anshmeet Singh is part of a new generation of storytellers emerging from Punjab — creators using film, music, poetry, and digital media to explore identity, beauty, and human connection in fresh ways. Through visual storytelling and content creation, he brings together tradition and modern imagination, searching for new languages of expression in an age shaped by technology and rapid change.
Recently, Anshmeet collaborated with Shivpreet Singh on the video for Gobind Bhao Bhagat Da Bhukha, a project exploring devotion, humility, and the timeless story of the Divine moving toward love rather than power.
This Saturday, Shivpreet Singh and Anshmeet Singh will lead a special Moondrunk conversation on video making, storytelling, creativity, and the growing role of AI in art and human expression.
The Moondrunk meditations are ongoing gatherings centered around oneness, discovering beauty in the world and within ourselves, and learning to listen more deeply through the writings of sages — including Gurbani, wisdom traditions from many faiths, and modern poetry.
Come join the conversation. All are welcome.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Gurminder Kaur Bhogal to our Seekers gathering on Sunday, June 14.
Dr. Bhogal is a musicologist, educator, writer, and practicing kirtaniya whose work explores the deep relationship between sound, spirituality, history, and human experience. She is the Catherine Mills Davis Professor of Music at Wellesley College and has spent years studying Sikh kirtan not only as music, but as a living spiritual and cultural tradition.
Her recent book, Sikh Kirtan and Its Journeys: Instruments, Theories, Technologies, reflects on how Sikh devotional music has traveled across generations, instruments, cultures, and technologies while continuing to nourish seekers around the world. The work explores tradition and innovation, women in kirtan, listening, diaspora, and the evolving sound of devotion in modern life.
Seekers is a continuing series of conversations, meditations, and gatherings exploring oneness, beauty, remembrance, and self-discovery through Gurbani, sacred music, poetry, and wisdom traditions from many paths. Through music, dialogue, silence, and reflection, we hope to create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the deeper currents of life.
These gatherings are presented by DhunAnand Foundation — Dhun meaning melody and Anand meaning joy. At DhunAnand, our mission is to support artists who are serving the planet through beauty, compassion, creativity, and oneness. We believe art can soften the human heart, heal division, and help us remember what connects us.
We are grateful to welcome Dr. Bhogal into this shared space of listening and learning. This is her second meeting with us!
All are welcome.

In June, we are will be honored to welcome Dr. Asma Qadri to our Seekers gathering — a scholar, writer, and luminous voice in Punjabi literature whose life’s work has been devoted to preserving and reawakening the wisdom of Punjabi poetry, Sufi thought, and cultural memory.

Dr. Asma Qadri is a Professor at the University of the Punjab in Lahore and a globally respected scholar of Punjabi language and literature. Over the course of her career, she has published numerous books and academic works exploring Punjabi classical poetry, Sufi traditions, folk heritage, and the spiritual imagination of the subcontinent. Her lectures and writings move gracefully between scholarship and lived experience, showing how poetry and sacred literature continue to shape the inner life of individuals and communities today. Through her work, she has become an important bridge between traditions, generations, and cultures — helping preserve the literary and spiritual treasures of Punjab for a modern world.
At Seekers, we gather to explore oneness, beauty, remembrance, and self-discovery through Gurbani, poetry, sacred music, and wisdom traditions from many paths. These conversations are not centered on debate or division, but on listening more deeply — to language, to silence, to history, and to ourselves.

Seekers is presented by DhunAnand Foundation — Dhun meaning melody and Anand meaning joy. At DhunAnand, our mission is to support artists who are serving the planet through beauty, compassion, creativity, and oneness. We believe art and wisdom traditions can help soften the human heart, heal separation, and remind us of our shared humanity.

We are grateful to welcome Dr. Asma Qadri into this shared space of listening and reflection, and we invite you to join us.

DhunAnand Foundation – India Unit, Village Badbar, District Barnala, Punjab, India led by Rishi Sharma and Avnish Kumar.

I am pleased to share that our DhunAnand Foundation India Unit at Village Badbar, District Barnala, has been actively engaged in nurturing young talent at the Government High School.

We have been imparting training in various fields of performing arts to budding students, helping them discover confidence, creativity, and expression. Alongside this, we recognized that proficiency in English plays a vital role in enabling students to reach greater heights. With this vision, we conducted a special six-month English learning program, designed to bring students to a level comparable with national standards. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by the students during this program were truly inspiring.

Beyond academics and arts, these students have also demonstrated a deep sense of social responsibility. During last year’s floods, they actively participated in relief efforts and helped distribute groceries to nearly 60 of the most underprivileged families in the village, supporting them for an entire month. Their compassion and commitment made us immensely proud.

Today, I feel equally encouraged to see these same students stepping forward to assist in a medical camp organized in the village. With the support of dedicated volunteers, doctors, and healthcare professionals from nearby areas of District Barnala, a full-day camp was successfully conducted. The students played an important role in organizing the camp and encouraging villagers to come forward for medical check-ups and consultations.

These efforts reflect not only learning, but the shaping of responsible, compassionate human beings.

I am sharing a few glimpses of how the camp was organized and how the village community participated with enthusiasm.

With gratitude and hope for many more such initiatives.

-Preet Mohan Singh
