Dr. Barretto

🤔 Would You Rather Wednesday!

Let’s settle this once and for all…

Would you rather use an:

⚡ ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH

OR

🪥 MANUAL TOOTHBRUSH

We’re curious—which team are you on? 👀

The good news is both can be effective when you’re brushing properly and consistently.

So whether you’re Team Electric or Team Manual, remember:

🪥 Brush twice a day
⏱️ Aim for 2 minutes
🧵 Floss daily
🦷 Keep up with your regular dental visits

Now tell us…

👇 ELECTRIC or MANUAL?

🪥 Tooth Tip Tuesday!

Don’t forget your tongue! 👅

You brush your teeth every day—but are you giving your tongue some attention too?

Your tongue can collect bacteria, food particles, and plaque. Gently brushing your tongue can help freshen your breath and keep your mouth feeling cleaner.

Next time you brush:

🪥 Brush your teeth
🧵 Floss
👅 Gently brush your tongue
💦 Rinse

It’s a small step, but it’s an easy addition to your daily oral hygiene routine. 💙

Did you already brush your tongue today? 👀

🦷 Myth vs. Fact Monday

❌ MYTH:
Whiter teeth are always healthier.

✅ FACT:
Tooth color doesn’t determine oral health.

Teeth naturally come in different shades, and while professional whitening can brighten your smile, whitening is primarily a cosmetic treatment.

A healthy smile is about much more than how white your teeth are. 🩷

Think:

✔️ Healthy gums
✔️ Strong enamel
✔️ Good oral hygiene
✔️ Regular dental checkups
✔️ Addressing dental concerns early

So don’t worry if your smile isn’t perfectly white. Healthy is what matters most. 💙
