During a visit, a caring registered nurse can:
✅ Check your physical health, including blood pressure and monitor for postpartum complications
✅ Check in on your emotional well-being, including signs of postpartum depression and connect you with local providers if needed
✅ Offer tips for healing after birth and caring for yourself
✅ Listen, answer questions and provide support without judgment

Recommended at 2-5 weeks postpartum, available up to 12 weeks.

No insurance requirements • No income restrictions

This service is part of the Help Me Grow Ohio network and is available to all Erie County families with newborns. Visits are provided by nurses from Firelands Regional Medical Center.
