No child should have to face a cold winter without a warm coat.

We’re so close to reaching our Coats for Kids goal, but we still need 100 more coats for local children. Right now, our biggest need is for sizes 2T, 3T, 4T and 5T.

Each year, CAC and the Knights of Columbus help provide brand-new coats to hundreds of children in Dunwoody and Sandy Springs. For families already stretching every dollar, something as simple as a warm coat can make a huge difference.

If you can help, you can:
• Purchase a coat through our Mindful Giving page: https://givenow.ourcac.org/campaigns/coats-for-kids/products
• Donate online and help us purchase coats in bulk: https://ourcac.org/donate-online/

Let’s make sure every child we serve has something warm to zip up before the cold weather arrives.

It’s Gala Week!

This Saturday, our community will come together for an evening that celebrates the people, partnerships and generosity that make CAC’s work possible.

Every day, CAC helps neighbors facing food insecurity, housing instability and financial hardship while providing programs and resources that help people move toward greater stability.

On Saturday, we get to celebrate that work together.

Saturday, September 19 | 6–10 p.m.
The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North

There’s still time to join us: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/cacgala2026/

This Thankful Thursday, we’re grateful for two generous donations to CAC! Patti and Mark Lipsey donated brand-new linens to Canopy Thrift™ at a time when our supply is especially low, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. stopped by with another donation to support our work.

Thank you both for continuing to show up for our neighbors!

We’re getting closer to one of our favorite nights of the year!

Join us September 19 for an evening of dinner, live entertainment from the City Springs Theatre Conservatory, an exciting auction, our Ultimate European City Experience Raffle and a few special surprises along the way.

Most importantly, we’ll come together for the work at the heart of CAC: helping our neighbors prevent homelessness and hunger and build greater stability.

We’ll reopen Tuesday, September 8, with regular hours. We hope everyone in our CAC community has a safe and enjoyable Labor Day!

Today, on International Day of Charity, we celebrate the many ways our community shows up for one another.

At CAC, generosity means groceries on the table, a family staying in its home, clothing for a new job, and classes and career services that help neighbors move forward.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, partner and Canopy Thrift™ shopper who makes this work possible. Together, we’re helping our neighbors find stability and build brighter futures.
