We're grateful when families take the time to tell us what our care meant to them.
Recently, a family shared how much it meant to see their loved one treated with patience, compassion, and dignity during a hospital stay at one of KPC Health's facilities.
To every doctor, nurse, and team member who shows up for our patients and their families, thank you. This is what your work looks like from the other side. π

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Orange County Global Medical Center trauma team booth at the OC District Attorney's E-Bike and E-Moto Buy Back on Sunday.
Our team spent the morning at Angel Stadium talking with families about helmet use, speed limits, and what our trauma surgeons see when a ride goes wrong. E-bike and e-motorcycle injuries are now the number one reason Orange County children are admitted to the emergency room, and those conversations matter.
Grateful to the OCDA's Office for leading the first event of its kind in Orange County, and to the families who showed up.

The kids have their back-to-school checkups scheduled. When was the last time you scheduled yours? π©Ί
It's easy to put off an annual physical when you feel fine. But blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar can shift before you feel anything.
Regular checkups are a chance to understand what's changing, talk through your individual risk factors, and stay current with preventive care.
While you're getting everyone else ready for the season ahead, put your own health on the calendar too. π

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the first responders whose courage and selflessness rose to meet an unimaginable day.
We also recognize the families, survivors, healthcare professionals, and communities forever changed.
May we continue to carry forward a spirit of compassion, service, and unity.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. πΊπΈ
