Our MSA-Santa Ana students had an exciting hands-on AI & Robotics experience at UC Irvine, programming robotic arms and quadruped robots while building teamwork, coding, and problem-solving skills.

This past Tuesday, our home office, administrative team, students and parents visited the Santa Ana Unified School board meeting to petition for our charter renewal.

Thank you to all who gave public comment and shared the inspiring work that is happening here at Magnolia. As it was stated, we are part of this community and we represent the best of what Santa Ana has.

WHAT IS A CHARTER RENEWAL?
We are in the charter renewal process in which the school’s authorizer reviews all our educational programs, academic performance, operations, governance, and finances before deciding on the school’s next charter term.

WHY IS THIS MEETING IMPORTANT?
The public hearing gives us an opportunity to share with the SAUSD Board members our input as part of the renewal review process. Family representation is critical, and parents who choose to may also submit a speaker card and share their experience with MSA-SA.

RSVP is NOT required, but it would help us plan dinner accordingly.

What an incredible two-day experience at 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲!

Six of our high school students put their robotics knowledge, designing, problem-solving, and teamwork to the test — earning 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 🥉 and the 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝! 🏆🤖

What an incredible start! Our 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 kicked off their Stanford AI Robotics experience with hands-on training led by 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬.

Students learned to work with an 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐫𝐦 and explored 𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐉𝐞𝐭𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲.

From our robotics classroom to 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 — our students are taking their learning to the next level! 💡🤖
