Leveraging the power of a patient’s immune system through the development of unique NK cell therapies
09/28/2026
Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that remains relatively unknown to the broader public, despite its profound impact on patients and families. FTD primarily affects the areas of the brain responsible for behavior, personality, language, and decision-making, often occurring at a younger age than other forms of dementia.
During FTD Awareness Week, NKGen is joining the effort to raise awareness of FTD, the challenges faced by those living with the disease, and the need for greater attention and research to help patients and their families.
As a company focused on advancing treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, we recognize the importance of greater awareness and continued research into conditions like FTD, where significant unmet needs remain.
This week, we stand with the FTD community in helping raise awareness and understanding of this disease.
