⚠️ SCAM ALERT: PLEASE READ!!!

There are individuals using names similar to Safe Paws Logistics LLC and “SafePaws” to arrange pet transportation and collect money.

They are NOT affiliated with my company.

When you book transportation with Safe Paws Logistics LLC, you book directly with me, Karen.

🐾 A breeder may recommend me or introduce us, but your transportation arrangements and payment are made directly with me.

🐾 I do not suddenly demand additional money for a crate before your pet can travel.

🐾 I do not hold your pet somewhere and demand additional fees before delivery.

🐾 If a pet needs a routine veterinary stop before transport, thats between you and the person you get the pet from, I do not invent surprise transportation or handling charges to get your pet released.

🐾 You will receive clear communication from me about your transport, pricing, pickup and delivery.

If someone contacts you claiming to be Safe Paws and something doesn’t feel right, DO NOT SEND MONEY.
Contact Safe Paws Logistics LLC directly and verify that you are actually speaking with me.

Pulled over for the night. 🌧️

Sometimes the road decides when it’s time to stop.

Safe, dry, and tucked in until morning. 🐾

ROAD STORY ☀️

Stopped at Love’s to fuel up.
The Terrain gets gas.
I get a quick break.
The dogs get a chance to stretch their legs.
And now… the BLUETTI gets fed too. 😂🔋

If I’m already stopping, why not pull out the solar panels and grab some free power while we’re sitting here?
Today I was pulling about 127 watts from the New Mexico sunshine. It doesn’t have to completely recharge the battery. Every little bit I collect while we’re stopped means more power for the fridge, coffee, microwave and everything else that keeps this little operation running on the road.

I’m slowly figuring out how to make life out here more self-sufficient:
☀️ Solar when we stop.
🚙 Soon, alternator charging while we drive.
⚡ And eventually, EV charging as another option when we need a faster refill.

Fuel for the Terrain. Sunshine for everything else.

Just another day keeping Safe Paws Logistics rolling. 🐾

One Rig. Endless Reunions.

🐾 LET’S TALK ABOUT PUKE & P**P. 💩

Yep. We’re going there.

Because pet transport isn’t always adorable puppies, beautiful scenery and happy reunion photos.

Sometimes it’s p**p.
A LOT of p**p.

And sometimes it’s vomit.

One thing I’ve learned on the road is that timing matters when it comes to deworming puppies before a long transport.

A puppy may already be dealing with the stress of leaving everything familiar, riding in a moving vehicle for the first time, changes in feeding and water, and spending 12+ hours traveling.

Add a dose of dewormer immediately before pickup, and some puppies can experience gastrointestinal upset such as loose stool, diarrhea or vomiting.

And when several puppies are sharing a crate?

Trust me. 💩 gets EVERYWHERE.

That doesn't mean deworming isn't important. It absolutely is. It means breeders and transporters should communicate about when medications were given and how the puppies are doing before they get on the road.

As the transporter, my job doesn't suddenly stop because things get messy.

I stop.
I check the puppies.
I monitor hydration and behavior.
I communicate with their families.
I clean what I safely can along the way.
And I keep getting those babies home safely.

Sometimes that means arriving with a puppy who desperately needs a bath.

Sometimes it means throwing away bedding.

And sometimes it means standing in a brightly lit parking lot late at night, wearing gloves and scrubbing puppy p**p out of a crate. 😂

That part doesn't usually make Instagram.

But it's part of responsible pet transport.

Because pets are family, not cargo. 🐾❤️

DOWN TIME 🐾

No highways. No pickup times.

No delivery countdowns.

Just me, the beagles… and apparently a construction project. 😂

Even Safe Paws has to park the wheels once in a while.

Today’s route: nowhere. 💙🧡

Look who's back! 💙🐾

I first met Murphy when I delivered this little chocolate bundle to his family on January 17.

Eight months later, Murphy is back on board with Safe Paws, this time heading from Southern California to Northern California for training. 🎓🐶
And when his training is complete, I'll be back to pick him up and bring him home.

From bringing him home as a puppy to helping him get where he needs to go today, it’s pretty special getting to be part of Murphy’s journey again.

Getting pets where they need to be. Safely. Personally. Every mile. 🚙🐾

This is me in my element. 🐾💙

Three tiny passengers, one very big journey, and the best part of every transport: getting them where they belong.

Ms. Dixie, Barbie & Gretchen traveled all the way from Texas to California, and today I got to put all three of these little nuggets into the arms of their waiting family. 🏡❤️

Thousands of miles on the road, potty breaks, meals, snuggles, weather, traffic and a whole lot of tiny-dog personality later... mission accomplished.

These are the moments that remind me exactly why I do this.
