Our Thousand Oaks Day Services team is making a difference at the Stagecoach Inn Museum! 🏛️ Our volunteers help care for the museum grounds by watering and maintaining the plants, flowers, and trees that surround the property. With no sprinkler system on site, their support their efforts make a meaningful impact. 🌿💚

This Sunday, July 26th, we celebrate the 36th Anniversary the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This landmark civil rights law ensures people with disabilities have the same rights in all areas of life including employment, transportation, education, and communication. We continue to recognize the importance of creating communities where everyone is valued, included, and empowered.

Today, we joined partners from across California to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with the second annual Walk and Roll from Sacramento's Tower Bridge to the west steps of the Capitol. Alongside disability advocates, community members, and leaders from across state government, we celebrated the progress made through the ADA while recognizing that creating communities where everyone belongs is an ongoing commitment.

Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate inclusion, accessibility, and the rights that help make California stronger for all.

Their success reflects CHLA’s broader commitment to workforce development through the Chuck Lorre Pediatric Health Education Institute, which is creating new pathways into health care careers and helping build a stronger, more inclusive future workforce.
