"Yellow Brick Road" 🌈 - Rev. Liz - September 27th, 2026

Dear Beloved One,

We all grew up with the icon "Wizard of Oz". What if the story isn't just about Dorothy and her journey, but is the story of us? And what if the yellow brick road isn’t really taking us somewhere—but showing us something about ourselves?

Dorothy begins her journey wanting to get away from home, only to discover that what she’s really seeking is a way home. Along the way she encounters a Scarecrow, a Tin Man, a Cowardly Lion, a Wicked Witch, flying monkeys—all signposts pointing her and us toward our deepest truth.

Let's explore The Wizard of Oz as a metaphor for the spiritual journey—the journey from fear to faith, from doubt to discovery, and ultimately from looking outside ourselves to recognizing the Divine power that has been within us all along.

There’s no place like home. And perhaps home isn’t a place at all. Perhaps home is who we truly are.

Dear Beloved One,

Fall is the season of letting go. Leaves fall. Days grow shorter. Nature turns inward. Perhaps we can learn something from the trees and the seasons about spiritual growth. The trees don’t lose their leaves. They release them. There’s a difference.

Maybe it’s a good time for us to ask: What am I carrying that I no longer need? An old resentment? A story about who I am? A fear about the future? This Fall Equinox, we’ll consider how a simple shift in perspective might change the way we look at endings, transitions, aging, relationships, dreams, and even ourselves.

Join us as we explore what we’re ready to release, what we’ve learned, and what new possibilities may be waiting for us. What if letting go isn’t losing something? What if it’s making room?

Dear Beloved One,

“Is Unity Christian?” It’s a simple question yet with an uniquely rich answer that is both a yes and no. Unity was born from Christianity, deeply inspired by the teachings of Jesus, yet understands the Bible and Jesus through a metaphysical and universal lens.

This Sunday we explore a question that can stir both curiosity and strong feelings. Unity grew from the Christian tradition, and honors Jesus as the great Way-Shower, mystic, healer, teacher and revealer of divine consciousness who demonstrated what becomes possible when we awaken to the presence of God within.

Join us as we explore what it means to be Christ-centered in inspiration, metaphysical in interpretation, and universal in welcome. Come bring your questions. Bring your curiosity. Bring your own understanding of Jesus. There is room for all of it.
