Jewelry of original design using old beads, coins, amber, coral, shell, & amulets hand woven and wor Customers were more interested in her jewelry.

The daughter of an air force piolot, Jewels spent her formative years growing up in Tripoli. She traveled extensively with her family from Tunis to Tangiers and recalls endless wandering through exotic market souks with her mother. Struck by the beauty of the coral, amber and tribal other tribal adornments, she says "I was hooked." After her education in Europe, Jewels spent many years traveling; living in India, South America and again in North Africa, expanding her education of jewelry design and knowledge of cultural artifacts-always collecting. Once she moved back to the states, long dark hair and decorated in beads and chains, she tried a stint of waiting tables. She promptly lost her job and never looked back. Clients are still buying necklaces off her neck

Dear New Mexico, early voting starts October 6, 2026.

We were so honored and excited to meet Secretary Deb Haaland (Deb Haaland) last night. As governor, she will fight for New Mexico’s clean water, environment, education and health care, the things that matter most. Yes, Deb!!

A Jewels’ standard design edition: long sterling chain with bezeled silver 17th-19th century Moroccan coins. Our clients love this necklace to layer, wear long or double to wear short.

It may be a “standard design” but these fab coins have wonderful patina and wear; NO TWO EXACT. We always ask “why would one want the exact piece of jewelry or clothing as a million other people? Do you really want what’s “trending”?

For cool and chic. An ancient bronze spearhead from Eastern Europe or Central Asia and sterling chain with great heft.

Every woman should wear a little coral, the old stuff of course. The combination of coral and green glass is traditional in Morocco- and gorgeous!

An iconic design: hand wrought sterling chain and sheet restoration on the early to mid 20th century Moroccan hamsas, also handmade. There is only one, just like the gorgeous model, Ms. Ali.

A new favorite. Old Amazigh gold bead, worn and dented, the patina of human touch. The rudraksha stone/seed prayer beads are perfection, that only nature can create. We made the gold fill chain and the near perfection of design is, of course, JEWELS. Made by nature and humans.
