A tiny 5x7 portrait of a big milestone. These little home paintings make the sweetest gifts …for a new chapter, a fresh start, or a place you’ll always miss. 🏡💛

3 words! Custom venue matchboxes 🌈 zero boring options. Made these for Jack and Lucy’s wedding guest gifts at the truly special, historic Maison Madeline in Breaux Bridge, LA! Bright, neon, and made to match a couple who don’t do boring either. 👏

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve maybe noticed I keep painting this same horse. If not, I believe this painting is rendition #8. Still chasing that weird nostalgic feeling of being on horseback in the New Mexico desert. Already thinking about what #9 will look like. Any who! It’s still hanging at Second Street Brewery in the Railyard if you want to see it in person! 🤠

Paint a fat little Robin...start feeling exactly like a fat little Robin. 🤰😂🎨 possible manifestation!
Never made the announcement on my studio page, so here it is! Baby Sager #2 is making their debut this November. Miriam is getting promoted to big sister, and I am getting promoted to more crazy I guess. Second baby survival tips welcome!

When a bestie turns into a Santa Fe garden fairy and starts a flower farm, your artist brain instantly goes into still-life mode. 🧚🏼‍♂️
I’ve already taken about a million pictures of these giant snapdragons and anemones from and I am ready to paint the hell out of these amazing flowers. My mental health honestly needed this little out door creative sesh so bad. 🥹❤️

Design the invite ➡️ Attend the party ➡️ Feed the baby when she comes out! 😅❤️ Talk about a beautiful full-circle moment. Swipe to see Miriam and I loving on sweet baby Georgia just a few months after her shower!
Seriously though, no one hosts quite like these Cajun women in Evangeline Parish. The woodland, mushroomy theme was perfect, down to the caprese mushroom caps and florals! And yes, those are pink deviled eggs🍄🪵 Somebody get these ladies a spread in a Southern living magazine ASAP.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the opening and to Gallery 3017 at Artisan for hosting such a wonderful show. These paintings will be on view until December 9– stop by if you missed it!

From Dave and I having our first beer together to this weekend, when our sweet Miriam “helped” hang my art, life has truly come full circle at Second Street Brewery!
This spot has become an extension of our living room in Santa Fe, thanks to the wonderful people who feel like family. I couldn’t have picked a better place for my first time hanging art in the city. Getting back into painting has been a joy! 🎨

Absolutely thrilled to share that my painting Hotel Luna Mystica was accepted into Yellow Studio’s Small Works exhibition in New York! 🌙 I sent a few paintings off into the universe just to see what might happen — and I’m so happy this one found its way here. A reminder that making and sharing art is always worth it. 💛

This show celebrates the quiet power of small-scale art — thoughtful, intimate pieces that invite you to lean in. Feeling grateful and excited to be part of it! 💛

I don’t usually post photos of myself here, but I figured it was time to show the face behind the art! 👋 I’m Emily Kaye — originally from Louisiana, now calling Santa Fe, New Mexico home since 2016 (can’t believe it’s almost been 10 years!). This is my little crew: my husband David, our sweet girl Miriam, and our grumpy doggo, Luca. We’re big-time foodies, lovers of travel, good beer, and laughing way too hard at our tiny human. Thanks for being here 💛
