This sweet double strand necklace is The Mighty Acorn! I bought this silver acorn charm years ago and it’s been hiding! I found it today and added some flat oval Brandy Citrine beads and Multi Colored Quartz rounds. The clasp is a Sterling Silver hook and eye. It’s short strand is 18” and the long strand is 19 1/2”. The silver Acorn is about 3/4” long. It represents our humble beginnings-our hidden potential. The citrine brings prosperity and the Quartz is a powerful healing gemstone. On the Sunny Sunday afternoon, Autumn Equinox Eve, the blues and greens have pops of yellow and inspired this necklace. I used uneven round faceted olive Beryl, Aqua Chalcedony facets, Maya Jade rounds and New Jade flat ovals. It’s finished with little glass spacer beads and a slide and lock silver filled brass flower clasp. The short strand is 15 3/4” and the longest is 19 1/2”. Like the weather today, the colors are both warm olive greens and cool aqua blues.
