The Designery

For all of your before & after lovers, I have a fun one to share today! From a coral space that genuinely hurt my eyes to a traditional, warm and elegant jewel box of a powder room! All of the details are in this week’s substack, direct link in bio 🐇

Last week Sherry Hart took Keri Perry and me on a tour of a project we have been working on together for over 3 years. I’ve known Sherry was talented for a long time, but she truly outdid herself on this house. So many details. So many layers. So many meetings and drawings and decisions and she killed it. I know she is going to need a big nap after this one wraps but this home is truly something to be proud of and I hope she can feel that in her bones 🤍

And of course the man behind the ex*****on is the always amazing Ladisic Fine Homes, Inc. …talk about a dream team 💪🏽

Allowances are DUMB! I’ve been holding that in for a long time…

Today’s article explains why I believe standard contractor allowances are destroying budgets and sharing my master “Before You Hire” checklist to tuck away for your next remodel! 🧠

Who wore it best? Dog or Cat? La Maison Pierre Frey fabric or grinch green fabric?

Proof that history repeats itself even if cats are more cooperative than dogs 🐾

The transformation story of my mom’s 🍄‍🟫 ottoman is up on substack this week, link in bio!

A before & after is always satisfying - one that was heavily influenced by Mother Nature…even more so! This week’s substack article is showcasing a basement bath we recently completed that got kick started by a burst pipe from a winter freeze a few years back. The definition of turning lemons into lemonade! 🍋

The Before….
