Due to COVID-19 issues, Enrollment Process Change due to STAY AT HOME ORDER

Due to the STAY AT HOME order, travel for a student to a local high school will be restricted. Please communicate to all students seeking to register that a completed registration form signed by a parent and student can be emailed directly to [email protected] during the registration periods. Registration forms will not be processed if emailed prior to the registration dates. These forms will be processed, and a confirmation email will be sent to the student showing their schedule.

Help needed. Many educators are going to be tasked with providing education to their students AND managing the education for their own children. I will be at school to do my job to the best of my ability and I also have 2 young daughters who need their education as well. Therefore, I have an idea that may help out many teachers or staff that is required to work outside of the home. Any student needing or wanting service hours can earn them by connecting with someone who has children in need of guided learning. I definitely am interested in someone helping my girls continue their education while at work with me. They will have lessons provided by their teachers and the use of technology. This can be from 1 hour at a time to a few at a time, flexible. So please ask your friends and spread the word so I can collect names of SWHS students that would like to earn hours of community service. This is a great way to continue earning hours in a safe, no crowd, limited contact situation. My name is Ashlyn Pendergraft and I am a recent UCLA graduate. I am interested in helping high school students improve their writing skills and prepare them for the rigor of college level writing. I am also available to help edit and proofread college admission essays and help assist in the college admissions process. My rate is $30/hour.
