Four years ago, I stuck my neck out and supported an unknown candidate who said all the right things. Unsavory things were brought up from his past, and my wife and I got raked over the coals for supporting him. I’m sure it cost me votes. Nevertheless, Sophie donated to him and we supported him through thick and thin. The screenshot below shows how we were rewarded less than three years later. 

Once elected, this candidate became just another swamp creature and now has become fast friends with the guy who tried to impeach DeSantis and throw Casey DeSantis in jail. He traded my friendship and the trust of the community in for a chance to hang with Colten Wright and Alex Andrade.

Unfortunately, this happens all the time in politics. People say they are your friends and they are not. Candidates are not what they seem. Some were never friends at all. Some were good people, and they got corrupted by the office. These folks have to leave office in order to regain their identity. Help Kerry rediscover who he once was. Vote for someone else, and let him return to his normal life. Free him from the trappings of this office.

When Alex Andrade attacked our governor, I defended Ron DeSantis online. Kerry took up for Andrade instead of DeSantis. See the comment below. 
Needless to say, I will not be voting for him. 

My very first bill was one that would give every county the right to recall their corrupt elected officials. Right now, 20 counties in Florida have that right, but the rest do not. Citizens in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton County have no way to recall crooked electeds. My bill would’ve given them that right that citizens in Orlando and Miami have.

We literally heard stories of elected officials in Hernando County running prostitution rings who could not be removed from office. My bill sailed through the Florida House, passing by a margin of 113-1. It had one last stop in the Senate. That’s when Santa Rosa County Commissioner James Calkins showed up in Tallahassee, spreading lies and scaring Senators into killing the bill. He quietly spent weeks behind closed doors in Tallahassee, fighting the recall movement that was started by ordinary patriots in his own county- Recall Florida

Why would an elected official spend weeks in Tallahassee fighting a bill that could only apply to corrupt elected officials?

Walton County, the Santa Rosa County Commish who had about 20 ethics complaints against him now wants you to give him a job. And if you do, he made sure in 2023 that you will have no way to remove him for wrongdoing.

We couldn’t stay silent. I love Walton County as much as my beloved Santa Rosa County, and we couldn’t let them make the mistake of a lifetime.
