Hi, my name is Hana. I am the mermaid who makes these gems. I have always been called a mermaid due to my long red hair and obsession with the water. My story starts in 2016 when I began fishing the Gulf Coast. I had a leather pearl necklace that had broken so I tied the pearl around my neck with some fishing line. From there I carefully perfected my craft to make a necklace that withstands water, everyday wear and appears to be floating on your neck. My goal was to make a necklace that would not break.
