My take on Jim Bagby was confirmed when playing golf on a team while I was a county commissioner, Bagby embarrassed me when he talked about what a great “ass” I had in the company of the other three players. Do we want a misogynist for commissioner? Don’t we have enough commissioners who don’t respect women??

If Bagby is put forward by Suzanne Harris, he will have to stick to supporting private beaches. She tried to get me to support her on private beaches and I wouldn’t. She supported someone else.

“BEWARE”

Beware of candidates who have to announce they are “Christian” by putting scriptures, fish symbols, and proclamations of Christianity on their mailers, and signs. ( James Caulkins) You will know a committed Christian by his/her actions. We’ve met many a”Christian”Politician (Cecilia Jones, Danny Glidewell(pastor Danny) and Brad Drake ) who do not exactly exhibit Christian behavior yet profess loudly.

Beware of those candidates who are beholden to developers, attorneys, and out of county big money, by the names on their contributor’s lists.
You can bet their contributors want something for their “investment”.

Beware of those candidates (Jim Bagby ) pushed by Suzanne Harris. She gave us Brad Drake by getting Teddy Stewart to withdraw from that race. Now Brad has turned on her. She opposes PUBLIC beaches, wants the county to purchase $$$$ a tractor museum, and supports very limited development in the north. If landowners in the north want the option to sell their land to developers for housing, retail and services, they should have the option to propose same.

Maybe Jim Bagby should run for congress district 2;
Instead of county commissioner walton county.

Districts 2 and 4 in Walton County, Fl Board of County Commissioners are up for election in the primary in August and the general in November 2026.

Who would you like to see run in both of these districts?
Remember a candidate doesn’t have to live in the district unless and until elected. And the vote is countywide.
