Some stories we tell over and over.

Others? We take to the grave 🤐

August’s Story Theme is TAKE IT TO THE GRAVE — and we’re digging into the secrets, buried truths, private loyalties, unresolved feelings, and moments we carry with us long after we stop speaking about them.

The crush you never admitted to.
The betrayal you justified.
The thing you almost said.
The memory that still finds you.
The secret you swore you’d never tell.

Not every story wants daylight. But even the hidden ones leave fingerprints.

So… what are you taking to the grave?

Maybe, just maybe, you’ll tell us Thursday 👀

Shucking oysters and talking the trade for National Oyster Day 08/06/2026

Happy National Oyster Day! 🦪

If you’ve spent a Sunday with us lately, chances are you’ve met Andrew Washburn of Choctaw Oyster Co. and Howdy Feller Oysters—the guy behind some of the freshest oysters you’ll find on the Emerald Coast.

Today he’s sharing his passion for oysters (and giving a few shucking lessons) on WJHG-TV in honor of National Oyster Day. Pretty cool to see one of our favorite local partners getting the spotlight!

The best part? You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to enjoy them.

Andrew will be back every Sunday through September at Distillery 98 alongside our friends at Idyll Hounds Brewing Company, serving up fresh oysters, cold drinks, and the perfect excuse to slow down for a while.

Congrats, Andrew—we’re proud to have you as part of the Distillery 98 family. See y’all Sunday! 🦪🍸

Shucking oysters and talking the trade for National Oyster Day Today is Oyster Day! And with a rich history in our area, we had to take the time to celebrate!

There are worse ways to spend a Sunday 🦪

Fresh oysters on the half shell. A Bloody Mary in hand. A cold lager waiting just a few steps away.

That’s what Serenoa Sundays are all about.

Tomorrow, Howdy Feller Oysters is back serving fresh oysters out back while you enjoy:
🍅 All-day Bloody Mary Happy Hour
🍺 $5 lagers next door at Idyll Hounds Brewing Company
☀️ An easy Sunday afternoon

No reservations. No rush. Just good food, good drinks, and good company.
