Half Shell Spirits

At Half Shell Spirits, we’re all about finding ways to keep waste out of landfills. That’s why we created the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable paperboard bottle ♻️

Compared to traditional glass bottles, our paperboard bottles:
♻️ Use up to 4x less water
🌎 Have a 6x lower carbon footprint
📦 Are 5x lighter, helping reduce shipping emissions
🌱 Are made with 94% recycled paperboard
♻️ And are 100% recyclable

And the sustainability doesn’t stop with our bottles.

We use recycled & cleaned oyster shells in our spirits filtration process, and we’re proud to support organizations working to collect and repurpose oyster shells for projects that help protect our coastlines; from shoreline restoration to oyster reef rebuilding and more.

kinda chic to have a vertical oyster garden hanging off your dock 🦪

Made from strings of recycled oyster shells, VOGs create habitat for baby oysters, fish, crabs, shrimp, and other marine life. As oyster spat attach to the shells and grow, the VOG becomes a little living ecosystem & eventually, those shells can be used in larger oyster reef restoration projects. Think your dock needs a VOG? DM us!

Organizations, like the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, collect discarded oyster shells from restaurants & bars, and give them a second life through programs like VOGs and shoreline restoration.

At Half Shell Spirits, we’re proud to support organizations working to protect + restore our coastal communities AND we’re proud to be the nation’s first spirits brand in a 100% recyclable, paperboard bottle.
