In 2003, H & M Event Rentals opened in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. The small rental company had owners Chuck Hinson and Jeff McDowell believing that they would just do a few small events a month. Little did they know that the business would grow very quickly and would soon begin to consume their lives. In turn, it incited their passions for the wedding and event rental industry. In just a few years, the small rental company has grown into a vibrant business that supplies rentals and décor for more than 300 weddings, corporate events, private dinner parties and charitable fundraisers, annually. Over the past decade, H & M has strived to become the premier rental company on the Florida Emerald Coast. In 2013, they began spreading their wings and venturing into Southern Alabama to a community that had an increasing demand for higher end rentals and décor. With each passing year, Hinson and McDowell learn more and more about the ever expanding merchandise and rental inventory that H & M offers. It is one that is easily compared to those in the larger markets, but still as a small business, always remembers the clients that have remained with them from the beginning. Setting their roots in south Walton County, FL, they have been privileged to work with some of the top caterers, wedding planners, florists, directors, and promoters in the South. With their relationships with these businesses, H & M Event Rentals has become a leader in offering their clients the latest and newest merchandise that has been made available to the industry.

It is always an elegant event when two polar opposites such as black and white, are used as the two dominant colors. This past weekend‘s wedding at Rosemary Beach showcased just what elegance can look like on the sugar sands, and azure waters of the gulf coast.

A hint of gold, the calming color of blue and the sparkle of white brought this watercolor wedding reception to life this past weekend. It just goes to show you that even though you want a quant beachside wedding of white, small accents and touches can take you to a look of the grandest ballroom.

The green grass and azure blue waters, with accents in black and white, made for an elegant pallet for this past weekends event at the Henderson. Despite soaring temperatures, fall colors are making their seasonal debut.

It was an honor to once again be a part of the annual Caring & Sharing’s: Pairing & Sharing” charity w**e dinner that raised thousands for the local community. The organizations work is beyond compare and we look forward to next year’s event.

The 2026 spring/summer wedding and event season saw more and more custom pieces that were added to the mix of decor. From custom shelving, bars and stage façades, to tent flooring, stage and facade wraps and customized pieces, it seems to be a forecast of what the fall season and spring 2027 will be requiring.
