Paws Sitting Service

Some of our clients are not locals, but we adore those visits just the same! Making a vacation even better for you (and getting to play with your pups for us) is a dream come true!

October is a big month around here because Paws Sitting Service is celebrating 20 years of serving Santa Rosa Beach! 🎉🐾

For two decades, local families have trusted us to care for their pets in the comfort of their own homes. We are incredibly grateful for every pet we've loved, every client who has trusted us, and every referral that has helped Paws grow over the years.

Thank you for being part of our story. We couldn't celebrate 20 years without you!

🎉 Our 20th Anniversary Special

POV: You work from home, so technically you’re home with your dog all day.

Working from home doesn’t necessarily mean you have time to give your dog a proper break in the middle of the day.

Meetings happen. Deadlines happen. Calls run long.

Let us take over for a bit. 🐾

We can give your pup their Paw-ty Break while you actually finish what you need to finish.

And if you need us regularly, join our Very Important Pet Program with 3+ recurring visits per week and receive 10% off eligible visits.

We’ll handle the coworker with four legs. 😂

Happy World Animal Day! 🌎🐾

🌙 Need someone with your pets overnight?

For some pets, nighttime is when having a familiar routine (and a caring person in the home) matters most. ❤️

Paws Sitting Service offers overnight care from 8:30 PM–6:30 AM in your home.

Overnight care is a great fit for pets who:

🐾 Prefer having someone home with them at night
🐾 Need a late-night and early-morning potty break
🐾 Feel more comfortable sleeping in their own home
🐾 Thrive on keeping their normal bedtime routine
🐾 Need a little extra companionship while their family travels

Our overnight sitter arrives around 8:30 PM and stays through 6:30 AM, giving your pets a full 10 hours of overnight care and companionship.

☀️ Need additional care during the day? Daytime visits can be scheduled separately to build the right care plan for your pets.

Overnight availability is limited, especially during busy travel periods and holidays, so we recommend reaching out as soon as you know your travel dates.

Going somewhere? ✈️

1️⃣ Reach out to Paws
2️⃣ Schedule your complimentary Meet & Greet
3️⃣ Reserve your pet’s care

You enjoy your trip. They enjoy bedtime at home. 🏡🐾

POV: You booked the trip and someone says…

“Can’t you just leave extra food out for the cat?” 😳🐈

Sure, cats can be independent.

But they still need fresh food and water, clean litter, wellness checks, play, enrichment and human interaction.

That’s where we come in.

Paws Sitting Service provides professional in-home cat care so your kitty can stay comfortable in their own environment while you travel.

Three steps:
1️⃣ Reach out
2️⃣ Schedule your complimentary Meet & Greet
3️⃣ Get your visits scheduled

Then go enjoy your trip.

We’ll scoop. They’ll play. You’ll get updates. Everybody wins. 😻

🎃 October & Halloween Pet Safety

Halloween can be a lot of fun for us, but candy, costumes, decorations, and extra activity at the front door can create some unexpected risks for pets.

A few things to keep in mind this month:
- 🍫 Keep candy out of reach. Chocolate and products containing xylitol can be dangerous for pets.
- 🚪 Be extra careful at the door. Trick-or-treaters mean lots of opening and closing. Consider giving your pet a comfortable, secure space away from the activity.
- 🔌 Watch decorations and cords. Curious pets may chew cords, knock over candles, or swallow pieces of decorations.
- 👻 Don't force the costume. If your pet isn't comfortable dressing up, skip it! A festive bandana may be all they need.
- 🏷️ Check IDs and microchips. Make sure your pet's identification information is current in case they slip out.
- ❤️ Give nervous pets a quiet retreat. A favorite bed, enrichment toy, and some calming background noise can make Halloween evening much easier.

And remember: keep the candy for the humans and the pet-safe goodies for the pets!
