Con Brio String Studio

We had a busy Christmas and Holiday season this year. Here is a photo dump of some of the highlights. Taking time in January to stop and think of the people, communities, venues, and in general so many wonderful connections made, but as season shifts back into more work, studies, and whatever 2026 will bring, it is always so fun to take a moment to reflect on all of the good memories of making music and really all the fun we had!

Bridger did an awesome job at his spring solo recital and I’m proud of his progress this year as he is note reading so well! Congratulations!

Proud of BHS students for their moving performance for the graduation ceremony. It was a complete joy working with each of these amazing students and I thank you all for a wonderful year. ❤️

Congratulations to Grace Gerhart who gave an awesome graduation recital for friends and family. Every moment was beautiful through and through as well as music well executed. So proud of you Grace for all your hard work!! God’s beauty shines through you!

For string teachers and all music educators alike, the spring season is packed with music events! It’s a blessing to have so many great opportunities for kids, from chamber group rehearsals to All-State Orchestra, Middle School Honors Orchestra, and the list goes on. Even over a long weekend we found a way to share music together as a family this Easter playing an Easter Cantata. Music makes our schedules full, but also we meet such wonderful friends and our days of music making are filled with joy!! Upcoming, we wish students best of luck this week at State Solo and Ensemble Festival. It will be great!! Due to snow and and weather, it was postponed, but looking on the bright side, we are happy it was rescheduled!

Join us for our FAMILY CONCERT on Saturday, February 4th at *3pm*. Our featured soloist is Bismarck senior violinist Hannah Bohlen who will perform the first movement of Mendelssohn's Concerto in E Minor.
