Today, we honor the man who inspired it all.

Scott Bailey was more than a husband, father, friend, and neighbor — he was the heart behind the mission that became The Bailey Brigade. After being diagnosed with a rare salivary gland cancer in 2020, Scott faced a difficult journey filled with treatments, uncertainty, and challenges no family should have to navigate alone. Through it all, he and his family were lifted up by an incredible community of support.

When Scott passed away in December 2021, his legacy didn't end. It became the foundation of a promise: that no cancer patient on the Emerald Coast should have to face their battle alone. Today, because of Scott's story, The Bailey Brigade provides comfort backpacks, copay assistance, transportation support, scholarships, and hope to local families walking their own cancer journey.

On this Father's Day, we remember Scott with gratitude, love, and a commitment to continue the work inspired by his strength and kindness.
