Behind these numbers is a year of showing up for our Emerald Coast cancer community in meaningful, tangible ways.

🎒 300+ backpacks distributed to local cancer patients
💙 $70K+ raised to support backpacks, supplies and scholarships
🎓 $10K+ in financial aid and scholarships
🙌 75+ volunteers helping us deliver comfort, hope and smiles

And while we’re incredibly proud of what these numbers represent, we know there are more people who will need us.

Remember September 12. 🇺🇸

We will never forget September 11, 2001—the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the day that changed our country forever.

But today, we also remember September 12.

We woke up heartbroken. We were afraid. We didn't know what came next.

But we knew we would face it together.

Neighbors checked on neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. People lined up to give blood. Flags appeared on porches and storefronts. We looked out for one another.

For a moment, we weren't defined by our differences. We were simply Americans—and there was a feeling that whatever came next, we would take it on together.

That spirit is worth remembering.

At Bailey Brigade, it lives at the heart of our mission.

When someone in our community hears the words “you have cancer,” we want them to know there is an army standing beside them—ready to help carry the fear, the burden and the uncertainty.

An Army of Hope and Love.

Twenty-five years later, may we remember not only September 11, but the spirit of September 12.

Show up. Help your neighbor. Love one another. And when life gets hard, face it together. 🇺🇸❤️

There are several ways to volunteer on Wednesday, November 25 and Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, so you can choose the shift that works best for you.

And here’s the best part: your volunteer time directly benefits the Bailey Brigade, helping us continue providing Brigade Backpacks, financial assistance, scholarships, hope and love to local cancer patients and their families.
