There are times when God is speaking, but we have been looking for Him in all the familiar places.
Jermaine Francis carries a prophetic grace for helping people slow down, listen more deeply, and recognize what the Holy Spirit may already be revealing beneath the surface. For more than 20 years, Jermaine has been shaped within the Christian International family, growing from student to staff member, author, teacher, and prophetic minister who now serves and ministers around the world.
At IGAP 2026: One Family. One Voice., Jermaine will help create space for us to listen differently, recognize where God is moving, and gain language and clarity for what He may already be awakening within us. Sometimes the breakthrough is not that God suddenly starts speaking. It is that we finally recognize where He has been speaking all along.
Join us as generations gather to worship, hear God together, and be strengthened for what He has called us to carry.

He is Risen!!
He leaves behind an empty tomb, so that our empty hearts can be filled with His life.
In Himself, He reconciles God and man.
A human being, fully glorified, now sits at the right hand of the Father, bringing our humanity into the very life of the Triune God.

GOD REDEFINES POWER!
GOOD FRIDAY reveals it.
God, the Creator, through an act of divine will, becomes human.
Not distant. Not protected. Not removed.
He enters into it.
The One who formed humanity… steps into it.
God takes on a body, crafted by the womb of Mary, subjecting Himself to every human limitation. His chest rises and falls with each breath. He sees through human eyes, limited to what they can hold. His skin dries in the desert air. He grows tired. He feels hunger. He knows thirst. There is not one human experience He stands outside of. The one who formed humanity is now one of them.
God is in the position of power. He needs nothing. He has nothing to gain. Yet He chooses suffering. He enters it… for our sake. He suffers so that we would never suffer alone again.
The One who has power over death… yields Himself to it. Which one of us would choose death if we could avoid it?
He takes on wrists and feet… for the sake of them being nailed through.
He embraces blood… for it to be poured out.
The God–man is lifted on two pieces of wood between Heaven and Earth, revealing that He Himself is the place where Heaven and Earth meet. In Him, they are not distant…they are united.
On the cross, Christ does not lose power. He reveals it. This is what power looks like in God. Not grasping. Not protecting. Not holding back. But giving. Pouring out. Entering fully into the depth of human suffering out of love.
Christ does not avoid pain...He deeply embraces it. This is what LOVE looks like. He gives His life for us, who have no ability to save ourselves. The One who cannot die… takes on death… so that we might enter into His life.
And in light of this, we begin to see how different God’s relationship to power truly is from our own. We spend our lives trying to gain control to avoid discomfort. We chase what might lessen our suffering. We reach for what feels secure.
Yet in Christ, we see a power that does not need to grasp or protect itself. It is secure enough… to give itself away.
Sit with the crucified Christ today. Not to figure it all out… but to see Him.
To behold the God–man who did not remain distant, but entered fully into our condition.
The God who meets you in your pain…
is the God who chose to enter it first.

Lately I have noticed a shift in my own heart.
I am less drawn to the busy city streets where everything is loud, urgent, and constantly trying to prove itself. Where voices compete, value has to be announced, and attention is something you have to earn.
I find myself more at home on the quiet mountainside instead. Not because it is better or purer, but because it is quieter. Because nothing there needs to perform. Because presence matters more than visibility.
Along the way, I have started noticing how many prophetic voices now live in the center of the marketplace. Voices once meant to cry out in the wilderness seem pulled toward spaces that require constant attention, affirmation, and visibility. I can feel how easy it is for accuracy to slowly turn into performance, and for words that come to pass to become something that must be broadcast and validated by people.
That realization has made me pause and look inward more than outward.
I am realizing how much I long for a faith and a listening posture shaped more by attention to God than attention from people. A place where words are formed slowly, held humbly, and spoken only when they are truly entrusted, not when they are rewarded.
Maybe that is where clarity grows.
Maybe that is where voices are refined.
Maybe that is where truth is heard long before it is ever announced.
Just a personal observation from where I have been standing lately.
Merry Christmas 2025! 🎄
Somewhere between my feet up by the pool, the beach, and the couch, I realized how badly I needed this kind of rest.
Family time, real laughter, and watching my mom win Deal or No Deal and accidentally become a cruise celebrity 😄
Grateful for slow moments like these.
When I choose to quiet all the noise, I find HIM peacefully present there, waiting on me to join Him in the quiet.
I Asked ChatGPT to create a picture of what it thinks I look like… and this is what it gave me. 🤨
What do you think?
Today I took a rest day, cause my soul needed it, even though I still have a long to-do list.
Sometimes I find it hard to rest. I’ve lived in a way that’s taught my nervous system that rest is unsafe. When I try to rest, my mind and body freak out, driving me to go do something and be productive.
I’ve unhealthily tied my value to work. I’ve felt like if I’m not doing something productive, then I’m not valuable. I’ve been spending the last few years undoing this deeply ingrained belief. It’s not just a cognitive belief it’s one deeply rooted in my body.
It’s the real deep work of learning how to rest in the arms of the Good Shepherd, knowing I’m deeply loved despite performance and productivity. I’m learning presence is enough, His presence is enough for me, and my presence is enough for Him.
I’ve burned myself out trying to work for God instead of just being with God.
I’m definitely nowhere near mastering rest and probably never will, but I am way more content with just being with God than doing anything for Him.
Old Testament scholar Walter Brueggemann says Sabbath is the resistance we are invited into, resisting and breaking free from the powers of Pharaoh and empire that seek to work us to death.
Moving into rest is an act of worship and surrender, saying: God, You will take care of me.
Take a moment—where in your life might God be inviting you to rest?
