Our Women’s Group is amazing!
We are so thankful for community partners like Saint Rita Catholic Church's Women's Group, whose generosity helps keep our pantry stocked with essential items for local families.
Their monthly commitment to supporting our mission makes a meaningful difference, and this month's donation of feminine hygiene products will help meet an important need for those we serve. Thank you for your continued kindness and for standing alongside us as we care for our neighbors.

Happy Independence Day, Saint Rita! 🇺🇸
Have a safe and happy day with friends and loved ones.
“O God our Creator, from your provident hand we have received our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You have called us as your people and given us the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God, and your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit, you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world, bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel to every corner of society.”

2026 Ed Underwood Scholarship Winner - Matthew Hernandez
Each year Council 17689 of the Knights of Columbus selects an outstanding high school senior from the Saint Rita Catholic Church parish community for the Ed Underwood Scholarship.
Ed Underwood played a key role in starting up the Knights of Columbus at St. Rita and in making our Council what it is today. His passing was a loss for for Saint Rita. Ed served as our Council's Financial Secretary and Community Director, and was instrumental in starting our Fish Frys, dinners for Bingo and many other Knights' charitable and community activities. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell, Ed placed great value on education and learning.
This scholarship in his name is our way of honoring Ed, his wife Toni - an active member of the parish - and the Underwood family
This year's competition was very tough, but one exceptional candidate rose to the top - Matthew Hernandez. Matthew is a senior at South Walton High School, an Honor Student with the designation of Summa Cum Laude, a member of the National Honor Society, the Debate Team, the Lacrosse Team and Swim Team.
Matthew is an Eagle Scout candidate and volunteers in the community for a variety of worthy causes and at Saint Rita Catholic Church with the Youth Group. Matthew will be attending the University of Florida.
The Knights of Columbus are honored to present Matthew with $2500 toward his education at U of F. Matthew’s parents, Chris and Jovita, undoubtedly are extremely proud of such a fine young man.
