These Clean Cookie Dough Bars are made with simple ingredients, and taste like a cookie dough candy bar straight from the fridge. 🤍
🍪 Cookie Dough Layer
• 1½ cups einkorn flour
• 6 tbsp butter, softened
• 6 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp sea salt
• 1–2 tbsp milk (if needed)
• ⅓ cup chocolate chips
🍫 Chocolate Layer
• 1¼ cups chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Optional: Heat-treat the flour by spreading it on a baking sheet and baking at 350°F for 5–7 minutes. Let cool completely.
2. Mix butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
3. Stir in einkorn flour.
4. Add milk if needed until a thick cookie dough forms.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Press the cookie dough into a parchment-lined 8x8 baking dish.
7. Melt chocolate chips and spread evenly over the top.
8. Freeze 20–30 minutes or until set.
9. Slice into bars and enjoy!
Store covered in the refrigerator.
