We are currently looking for help!
We are looking for someone to plow this winter.

Are you who we are searching for?

Sunday Deacon Dave spoke on humility.

Humility is a core Christian virtue: when we choose humility—valuing others, seeking God's will, and bowing to Christ—we receive God's favor, wisdom, unity, and eventual exaltation; pride opposes God and brings downfall.

We should
- Choose humility daily: value others above yourself and avoid selfish ambition or vain conceit.
- Seek God's face: pray, repent, and align decisions with God’s will (2 Chronicles 7:14).
- Model Christlike service: adopt a servant mindset and be willing to humble yourself for the sake of others and the gospel.
- Promote unity: humility produces like-mindedness, shared love, and unity within the church.

Here are some reflection questions for you to ponder this week.

Reflection Questions
1. In what area of your life is pride quietly opposing God’s ways?
2. How can you practically value others above yourself this week?
3. Will you choose to bow your knee to Jesus now rather than waiting until it is too late?

Wednesday Sept 23 at noon Christ Church is hosting the kickoff for this year's 40 Days for Life.

Each day during 40 Days for Life, individuals, churches, families, and groups will be asked to join together in prayer for a specific request so the entire Body of Christ can unite around a common focus.

People of faith are also invited to fast throughout 40 Days for Life. We believe that when God’s people fast with a broken, repentant, and contrite spirit, our heavenly Father will hear from heaven and heal our lives, our churches, our communities, our nation, and our world.

During 40 Days for Life, the message is taken proactively to every corner of your community. Media outreach is conducted through carefully targeted news stories, talk shows, and editorials. Church involvement begins by meeting with local pastors, other church leaders, and members of different congregations.

Join us at noon tomorrow!

Yesterday Edythe shared her testimony about the abuse she suffered as a child at the hands of her mother.

But then, a miracle happened and new neighbors invited Edythe to church. She met God. And He began walking beside her, comforting her and showing her how to raise a family in a loving manner.

We know the grace, mercy, peace and love that fills our lives because we know God. Who can you invite to church to meet God?
