🏁 What a race day! This Saturday marked Rise High’s first-ever Mousetrap Racecar Grand Prix—and the competition was seriously fierce! 🚗💨

Our students and mentors put the finishing touches on their cars before hitting the track, competing for top honors in three categories: Fastest, Farthest, and Funkiest.

A huge congratulations to all our racers for bringing creativity, teamwork, and plenty of problem solving to the Grand Prix! 🏆🔧

The Mousetrap Grand Prix has us putting our heads together to tackle the ultimate design challenge. Last Saturday, our 9th and 10th graders teamed up to get their cars rolling. We’re in the final stretch and almost race-ready— who’s taking the crown?!

At Rise High, we learn by doing hard things, experimenting, and embracing failure as part of the process. Our 7th and 8th graders put that into practice on Saturday, building their racecars for the big design challenge. Next up: taking on the high schoolers!

Saturday was Day 2 of our Design Challenge for the Mousetrap Grand Prix. Our 11th and 12th graders worked hard on their design features to be the fastest, go the farthest, or look the funkiest in the competition!

Our 10th graders kicked off their mousetrap racecar design challenge and are already putting creativity, engineering, and problem-solving to work. We can’t wait to see their designs hit the track at the Grand Prix on October 3! 🏁

This past Saturday marked the beginning of a brand-new year—and a brand-new design challenge for all our students. For our seniors, it also marked the start of their final year with us. 💙

It’s incredible to think about how much they’ve grown since first joining Rise High. We’re so proud of all they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they achieve this year. And what better way to begin than by designing some pretty fancy mousetrap racecars? 🏎️✨
